BOOK IN ADVANCE Please allow plenty of time for your reservation to be processed and confirmed. Your travel documents will be sent to you or your travel agent (if applicable)via ordinary mail after payment has been received. We will not be held liable if travel vouchers do not arrive in time due to late booking. We recommend you book a minimum of 6 weeks in advance with final payment made at least 30 days prior to your departure date from Australia. CONDITIONS OF BOOKING & IMPORTANT INFORMATION Please take the time to read through this information. Programme validity: 01 October ,2001-31 March 2002 or as stated on individual products Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of A$110 is due within 10 days of confirmation to hold your booking. Final payment: The balance of your booking is due 30 days before your date of departure from Australia or immediately if you are leaving within this time. If payment is received late, we reserve the right to added courier/ express postal charges to your booking and will not accept responsibility for documents not received. Late bookings: A late booking fee of A$15 will be added to bookings made within 10 days before date of departure from Australia. Cancellations: The cancellation fee is loss of deposit plus any charges levied by the supplier for bookings cancelled in advance. Once travel has commenced, no refund applies unless shown below In addition, some suppliers require cancellation in advance for a refund to be considered. In addition, some suppliers charge their own fees e.g.. some hotels apply a no refund policy during high season and/or a minimum 1 night fee. These charges will be added to the $110 fee. Refunds To apply for a refund, please ask your travel agent to send your travel voucher to us together with your request. Please note, there is no refund for unused services or no-shows. Travel insurance. We strongly advise that you purchase travel insurance to protect you against unforeseen travel disruptions and cancellations. Amendments Before documents are issued, changes to car rental bookings and hotels are free of charge . For all other products, amendment fees apply for each change and are non-refundable. Once documents have been issued, a fee of A$33 (including G.S.T) will be added to your file Please ensure that you allow plenty of time for request to be processed and a new voucher mailed to you. Bookings: Must be a minimum of 3 days of land content. A processing fee of A$33 (including G.S.T) will be charged on all bookings which fall less than the minimum requirement. Changes to terms & conditions: All details in this programme have been carefully checked and are correct .. The suppliers featured in this website reserve the right to amend details such as depot locations, timetables, one way fees, insurance policy details etc. without prior notification. Responsibility: Kiwi Vacations is not itself a direct supplier of flight or land services. Clients should be aware of the terms and conditions applying to the use of vehicle rental , accommodation, flights, ferries and rail services. Prices: A$ prices quoted in this brochure are correct ,however ,we and the suppliers featured in this website reserve the right to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations without prior notification. Should this be necessary and you decide to cancel, Kiwi Vacations will refund all deposits paid to discharge liability. Prices are subject to change at any time however your holiday costs are protected against currency adjustment once final balance has been received by us. I M P O R T A N T I N F O R M A T I O N Car Rental/Motorhome rentals Inclusions: Your car rental will include unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver (CDW), 3rd party insurance, theft protection, one driver, local tax, roadside assistance.See Motorhome sections for specific details on inclusions Not included: Insurance excess, one way rental fees, fuel, child seats . These extras vary by company and are subject to the local tax rate and are payable at time of pick up. Major credit cards are accepted for this purpose Branch locations and opening hours: Generally, depots are open Mon - Fri 0830 - 1700, Sat 0900 - 1200, Sun and public holidays closed except for major airport locations. Rental days: These are based on a 24 hr period. Penalties for returns later than the specified time are very high and are based on local rates and conditions. Calendar days are used to calculate the number of days for Campervan/Motorhome programmes. Vehicle types: Car rental is confirmed by group. e.g.. A, B or C, not by specific make or model. The type of car shown in our brochure is representative of the group only. All car rental companies will have several types of vehicles in each group and will regularly update their fleets with the latest factory models. If the confirmed car group is not available at time of pick up you will be automatically upgraded to the next category at no extra cost to you. Drivers All drivers will be required to present a full Australian licence which has been valid for at least 1 yr. Your rental will include one driver. All other drivers are considered additional and a fee which is payable direct is applied at time of pick up. Except as noted on Motorhomes and campervans Age limits Minimum age is 21, No maximum however we recommend drivers over the age of 75 yrs carry a recent doctors certificate stating that they are medically fit and able to drive. Child seats: These should be requested at the time of booking to ensure availability at your chosen collection point Disclaimer: Pictures used within this website are representations of vehicles and accommodation to be supplied and actual details may vary slightly due to amendments in new vehicles or refurbishment of properties etc. Passports and Visas :You must ensure that you have a valid passport with an expiry at least 3 months after your planned return date from New Zealand.It is your responsibility to ensure that a valid visa for entry to New Zealand has been stamped in your passport if necessary .Australian citizens do not require a visa for holiday visits to NZ.For other nationalities click here to obtain full details of requirements applying to your nationality.Should you require assistance in obtaining a visa please call our reservations centre for advise.A small service fee will be charged for obtaining a visa on your behalf. |
